Inspiration and support to improve your wellbeing and make the most of different areas of your life.
Time to Thrive offers a range of support. See below for Upcoming Opportunities. Support includes 3 basic types of sessions:
1) Courses; these are a combination of teaching and group coaching. We run open courses that anyone can join plus courses just open to members of an organisation or group.
2) Open ‘My Time to Thrive’ group sessions. These are regular drop in sessions that are open to anyone. Each time there is a short learning topic plus groupwork to make a difference to our daily lives.
3) One-to-one coaching. See the coaching page for more information.
The courses focuses on encouraging people to take proactive steps improve their own mental and physical wellbeing or enhance any other area of their life. They draws on elements of life coaching, sports psychology, mindfulness and CBT to enable people to take on the challenges – and opportunities – of life in a supportive and positive way.
Previous course participant on the 6 week Time to Thrive foundation course Amanda Gotts says: “Go on this course! I did it and I recaptured some of the things I enjoy doing and how we need to care for ourselves using the amazing gifts we are given. Esther is brilliant at running this course”
and Paul said “Through the course I made a 180 degree turn in my life. It enabled me to positively reengage in my life journey and I am really pleased with the changes I’ve made as a result” and “during the course there is lots of opportunity to smile”.
Open courses are scheduled as soon as 6 to 9 participants have expressed an interest and a time is agreed. Monday afternoon and Tuesday evenings are currently proving popular. Groups can also book a course at a time and venue to suit.
All courses are currently running on Zoom. This is proving to be a format that is working unexpectedly well, giving the benefit of being in the comfort of your own home. We do ask that people use as large a screen as they have available as this helps create a good connection between the group and a conducive environment for learning and enjoying the course.
